A lot of new devices are created to make our lives easier.
What would you think should be improved or created to make our life easier or better?

The one technology we need FAST is the ability to economically remove C02 from the atmosphere.  :/

I think at this day and age where were faced with social, political and even environmental issues, society would be more inclined to see less of luxury-oriented gadgets and apps, but more of practical and useful tech. Perhaps technology that could help promote better relationships, promote health and longevity, and maybe technology that could save the planet would be good, right?

that would work quite well if we would just shut down bitcoin.....

1% of world electricity demand needs quite some co2 into the atmosphere and even if it would have been created by "renewable enegier" you have to consider the needs of the maintenance work and their supply education etc.

No need for new technology. We just need to somehow restore our rainforests.

"Every year an area of rainforest the size of New Jersey is cut down and destroyed. "

The same technology we need right now. Things that improve the human condition in all sizes, shapes and forms.

This means we need solutions for scarcity and physical degeneration. Fix these two things and the majority of mankind's problems are solved.

What technology do we need in the future? A technology that can recycle non-recyclable items such as plastics, ceramics and kitchenwares, used paper towels, napkins, plates or boxes, food waste and garbage. Why? Because finding a death cure is useless if we're going to live in a planet that's in the brink of destruction anyway.

I think we can't even begin to comprehend how life will be like in 1000 years. Assuming we don't blow ourselves up some of these things will have happened:
- many human beings will be genetically modified to suit whatever purpose they were made for
- we will constantly be connected to a computer
- we will all be in constant communication with each other

We will need virtual reality and blockchain technology in the future. We will use it for simulations, transactions, communications, entertainment and gaming.

I think that even nowadays there is not enough time for a modern person to monitor his health and visit hospitals in time, so it was good to have a device at home able to check your health.

I would just settle for more advanced AI.  I'm tired of asking Alexa for something only to hear "I don't have an answer for that" or something similar.

I really think we don't need new technology, what we have is already enough

Then stop having babies, let 50% of the population die from old age or disease, and we will be good.  Smiley

If we want to continue our luxurious way of life until the climate kills us, we need newer technology constantly.

I think it could be anything, and therefore it is difficult to answer. Now they create simplification everywhere, in any areas and directions. I see that some have already written for pumping out CO2 from the atmosphere, and I think that this will then be beneficial and beneficial for everyone.
