Do you really need a dice bot? If yes, what feature do you wish to have?

Hi buddies,

I just developed a corss-platform Windows/Mac/Linux dice bot named 'MyDiceBot' here:

The story is one year ago, some of my friends told me they were gambling, and wish to use some bot. But unfortunately at that moment, there's no dice bot on Mac/Linux except Windows.

And especially some of them are usually renting a Linux VPS remotely with vnc, it's much cheaper than Windows VPS if considering the same hardware configurations. Then they can run it for many hours, to save electric money.

And another benefit of 'remote VPS' means the IP addresss is not locally...

That's the reason why MyDiceBot came out.

Some friends said it's useful, some said actually not...

What's your opinion? What feature do you wish to have?

About the feature, I think your app does already have the "main feature" it should have as a bot. It supports some of the popular dice sites and there are next in line already.

Well then, no need for other internal improvements unless you will consider some. Just continue working on what are you doing now.

stand a chance winning in dice, regardless of the house edge. I used bot to enjoy but not not win, maybe....

You need to understand that none of these bots will ever have any winning formula since every dice site has a house edge. If the house edge was in your favour then, they would have some formula to always "beat the house".

The people that use these bots just want something thats 3rd party and something that they can easily customize to their own betting style. They also want more functionality. A regular auto-bot on many of the dice sites only has the basic features, if you want something more advanced then you need a bot of your own.

Also with the bots you can easily reset the seed more often and choose a more customizable client seed and it gives you more "proof" that the casino is not scamming you on your bets.

I have always looked at the dice bots as a marvelous invention of marketing.
First of all, you are basically making a bot that gambles for you which takes all the fun out of gambling, if I am not the one that is gambling whats the point of it ?

Secondly considering the house edge, no matter how you build the bot there is absolutely no way of making money with a bot like that, not a single chance, this is a mathematically certain thing not a maybe thing. Also, there are still bots in the dice websites as well, like you can literally use their bots instead of using a third part bot for dice games.

No matter how you look at it, all dice bots are a marvel to marketing, you are basically selling something against peoples best interest and they help you build it and improve it somehow.

To be honest I do not really like to use dicebot because I like to bet manually when I'm playing dice game unless I'm going to hunt for big multiplier. In this case I would prefer to use the autobet feature or dicebot as I feel that I get faster speed while using dicebot for small bet amount.
But I believe there are many players like to use dicebot especially those who have specific strategy that is impossible to be implemented on the site's autobet feature. I haven't tried your bot, but it looks good enough from the available features and UI.

Anonymity is one of reason why people choose to gamble with cryptocurrency, so these features should be mandatory :
1. Make sure user can use your bot through VPN, Proxy or Tor
2. Built-in support for VPN, Proxy, or Tor such as automatically connect to  SOCKSv5 on port 9050 if user choose to connect through Tor

Show spreadsheet/table for martingale (based on user bot configuration) might be interesting to let user how much bankroll they should prepare.

Is that VPN or Proxy feature thing doesnt still exist on most bots nowadays?If not then this feature will be useful indeed but overall i dont see any need for more upgrades
because BOT do always have that common feature of automation of bets.

I think dice bots are undoubtedly a wonderful creation. But honestly, I don’t like to use dice bots much because if I am not gambling myself, then what is the fun of gambling. But it is best for people who cannot control their heartbeat at crucial moments. I have not personally tried using your dice bot but I think it looks quite impressive as it has all the required features and UI.

Personally I'm prefer stop on loss and win because I'm usually play auto bet on dice.
The next matter only how you can able to convince me that your bot are legit and can't be rigged with other platform

The bot only help you gamble automatically but you're deciding at the end !

This bot seems useless.  If it could somehow beat the house edge it could bankrupt casinos and they would go out of business.  Your time is better spent developing something that people can actually get a benefit from.  Maybe it's fine if you are just trying to create something for practice that doesn't have any real world use.

There was a problem on PD why such winning is on fire.I've remembered this thing and until now lots of people surely knows about this stuff but
overall bots doesn't really work for it to make fortune for those people who use it.Its just good for automation but doesn't give you a sure win.

You will need bots if the dice site that you use doesnt have those auto betting feature. I've seen dice sites added this feature and it's a good one, one of them is Bitsler. If only those bots can improve our winning and help us become more disciplined in playing like make us stop when we need to stop I'll get one for myself.

Everything about this bot looks good to me right now. I do not play dice often when I gamble, and I don't usually use bots, but it seems to me that there's everything I could ever need with a dice bot in the program you have here. The bot itself is functional and doesn't really need any updating in the aesthetics department IMO, but perhaps a dark theme would be nice- I have a dark theme for my Chrome browser and also on most sites that allow me to change the website theme, and having a dark theme on your bot would definitely be a plus for me. Everything else seems good to me, however.
