Bitcoin’s tumbled to a 15-month low. Ethereum is circling the drain. Despite announcements of a Swiss ETP, more regulated bitcoin futures in Q1, a German stock exchange launching a crypto platform, and institutional investors getting in, the market keeps on hemorrhaging. Is it time to jump ship? Cut your losses and get out while there’s something to get out with? Is this the end of crypto?

The short answer to that would be, no one knows. It’s possible, of course. Apart from miniature countries floating in the Mediterranean with reputations for accepting money from questionable sources, regulators haven’t been welcoming.

I don't think bitcoin end this only a speculation
I still believe in new technology how it's gain in the world
Bitcoin is a form of money using new technology
I believe if the internet connection will be end bitcoin will also end
Without new technology nothing digital money or crypto currency

History will be unkind to those who bet against technology.

I absolutely agree with Anthony Pompliano here. It's impossible to imagine the future without blockchain technology and Bitcoin as number one crypto currency. Let the haters hate and rejoice over our temporary defeat for now, but the future reign of crytpo is inevitable.

Nope. Switzerland is far from being such a country, and yet Bitcoin is very much welcomed there. Check out the video from the link below:

no this is not the end of crypto
the life cycle is only 10 years now and its only the early stages
whenever bitcoin price takes a dive we start to see this sort of panicking
where were you when bitcoin was worth 550$ and then dropped to 100-200$ ? wasn't the end of the world, right?
there are many reasons for the price to go down but to say that price fluctuations signal the end of something is plain retarded
bitcoin and blockchain are future proof techs, they are here to stay

It's a good sign that we are seeing capitulation like this, it means that we are getting closer to the bottom, although it will still take some time. The market will begin recovering when most of the users will think that it's dead and no one will hope for a bull market anytime soon. When "experts" were predicting a bull run, or at least $10,000 by the end of 2018, it was clear that the market isn't ready for true recovery.

This can not be the end, as long as there are investors and crypto enthusiasts. It is important to understand that Bitcoin is not just some kind of trend. Bitcoin is the most modern currency, it is nonsense that turned the notion of anonymity and freedom. Why then should it be the end? I think this is just the beginning.

After all the years I've been here on Cryptospace i have seen thousands of similar questions about this end of Crypto? When people do see decline
then they do say such things easily without even thinking back on whats blockchain technology is all about. Its really hard to believe that this breakthrough
innovation wont able to spread up on future. We know on how this tech can help us when it comes to transactions which are really essential in lots of sectors
we've known. Its too early to say about the end just because we are heading downward. Why we cant just say that this is a "normal cycle of a particular market?"

Probably we cannot figure out what will going to happen for bitcoin. As you can see that people are now facing a lot of difficulties in their decision making because at first they had gone predicted for a bull run for which it does not really happening and now that bitcoin has gone some market price fall down which it is now in bad market situation then probably bitcoin could have a chance that it will going to end.

I simply don't understand why people would want to cut loss right now.

Prices are so low, that even if you cut your losses and exit your positions, you wouldn't be getting much back. If you made the mistake of investing at the height of the bubble, there is really nothing you can do other than being patient and holding for the long term.

But it's an obvious exaggeration to say that bitcoin is dead. Its fundamentals has not changed, and we've probably heard that claim a thousand times by now. People confuse price with bitcoin's utility, adoption, and acceptance. Bitcoin's adopter base is not decreasing by any means, nor is its transaction processing capability faltering.

In any circumstance, bitcoin's decentralisation means that even if there is just 1 person using the network, it is not "dead". Thus, it's absurd to say that bitcoin isn't useful anymore simply due to one bear market. It makes zero sense.

Yeah probably bitcoin will going to end sooner or later because it has no good support from the government of each countries around the world. It is somehow considered as a gamble when you invest in cryptocurrency. I even had made some loss even if I tried so hard not to get lost with the investment but since the market price is unpredictable the crypto you are holding will not matter when its market price will going to stumble down its equivalency.

Well we could not be sure also that bitcoin will going to continue and prevail as the some of the countries around the world like India and China declaring cryptocurrency as illegal like BTC ETH XRP and other establish crypto. They are not in favor of the system which might influence other countries to follow as well. I will agree to the point that bitcoin will going to prevail if it will be like the stock market exchange that has gone regulations and being accepted from all over the world.

Again, the bear market really put a lot of crypto enthusiast somewhat lost their faith on crypto but we all know that its not the end. If you have been here long enough, you will definitely have a idea that everything works in a cycle. So it means it a cyclical and even Bitcoin's lowest point years back didn't kill crypto but people remain resilient and those smart investors knows what next for crypto that's why they chooses to stay. We might been seeing the tail end of this bearish market that will put push crypto on the next levels for the next couple of years, so definitely we are. far from being dead as others might have suggested.

I have to admit that I am on of the many that can be feeling the disappointment and may not have the luxury to wait a longer period before a good recovery of Bitcoin price. However, I don't believe that this can be the end of cryptocurrency but this is just a temporary trial for the whole platform and this is sending the message that there must be right changes that should be implemented by the whole marketplace. Certainly, there will be projects that can be left in the underground and soon we can see better platforms getting on their knees and flourishing.
