When you say "plastic card" we're you referring to debit cards? What's the point of buying a debit card that contains a name that isn't yours though?

It would be used just to cashout funds from my wallet.

If it's going to be a one-time thing, you may not face any issues but If you're going to do this constantly (loading and cashing out), you should expect the worst where your account (with your funds) could get locked etc.

If your country is not offering a local Bitcoin debit card chances are the one you will buy online would be useless for cashing out your money as no banks would recognized the debit card you will be using. You are better off finding a local Bitcoin wallet provider in your country as most of their wallet services come with a complete package from cashing in to cashing out your cryptocurrency to local fiat currency. Also its risky buying debit cards to people you really don't know online, especially if you really don't have any knowledge what you are dealing with.

I have purchased one from coinsbank once, and I really liked it and it required a bit of KYC and all that but I was fine with it considering they were giving me a debit card for using on bitcoin which is freaking awesome.

Nonetheless, I have realized that they were using a third party bank which doesn't fly with me. These dudes literally take your information and open a bank account under your name and give you debit card that way, they are just middleman between you and the bank, the only difference is you do not deal with the bank when it comes to spending and you deal with coinsbank and than coinsbank deals with the bank, however I am not really fine with giving coinsbank that much power over my bank account somewhere I don't even know. So, I got it closed and removed my account from there.

Bitpay's indeed not a bad choice, though there are pretty mixed reviews with Bitpay and a lot of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency debit cards are being closed by banks for various reasons recently. With all the things going on recently with crypto credit cards and banks you're likely going to have a much smoother experience just exchanging crypto to fiat through this forum's currency exchange section or an exchange.

It's an old thread but as everyone is suggesting BitPay cards, I must ask, aren't they only available in the U.S?
