Founded on organic farming principles and embracing the philosophy of
sufficiency economy of Thailand’s late King Rama IX, the Wisdom Academy
is committee to the capability development of ASEAN’s rural farming
communities.
Our founders are thought-leaders who have been making things happen.
Through the Wisdom Academy’s knowledge sharing initiatives, we are
creating a movement where communities are adopting new approaches
with new technologies to create flourishing, sustainable systems.
The academy’s vision is:
To raise aspiration in all people and create opportunities for prosperity
through learning and capability development within a local setting.
The Wisdom Academy focuses on development in every sense: intellectual,
personal, physical, social and ethical. The five universal values that best
express what we strive to impart are:
Respect
We hope to instill respect for one and other, the community and the
environment.
Love to Learn
We do not want learning and development to be perceived as simply
utilitarian – one that is a mere instrument for future success. Instead, we
hope to foster a genuine love of learning and a desire to acquire knowledge
beyond the academy.
Responsibility
Along with the privileges of learning and capability development through
the Wisdom Academy, students will become stewards of knowledge and
that it is their responsibility to pass on this stewardship to others within
their community.
By extension, students at Wisdom Academy will have a lifelong
responsibility to share their knowledge to help and enhance possibilities
for others and to protect the environment. A belief in and commitment to
striving for social justice for others less fortunate, and to preserve and
prosper from the environment, will form an essential part of the ethos of
the Wisdom Academy.

Wisdom Academy is first and foremost a locally based learning and
development facility in ASEAN, headquarter in Thailand. Our regional
footprint and global reach makes us an academy of the world.
Becoming a successful organic farmer today takes a wide variety of skills -
from soil management and seed production to marketing and business
planning. At Wisdom Academy, we give aspiring farmers a strong
foundation in a broad range of skills, so they can achieve their unique farm
goals and harness the power of the IPUX eco-system.
The Wisdom Academy, as part of the IPUX community, will also leverage
on IPUX technology hub to offer an ongoing series of training modules,
manuals and capacity building initiatives. Graduates from the academy will
have the know-how and access to all of IPUX’s eco-system and will benefit
from becoming users, as suppliers and/or buyers.
Through the Wisdom Academy’s education modules and lectures, we will
drive interest in, and adoption of smart farming practices, use of
TradeWeThai as a platform for prosperity, advice on the opportunities
from Micro-Financing, awareness of eco-tourism and the benefits from
community-based tourism, and developments in health, wellness and
beauty.
