Crypto vs dot.com bubble

Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, is there any good reasons pumping up in your head that makes cryptocurrency stand out and safer than dot.com bubble? My very own answer is we are already seeing bubbles in crypto since years back and it always recover ,crypto depends on hashing power and dot.com doesn't have that. I think cryptocurrency is safer bet thana that of dot.com ,the difference is not that marginal but yet the difference is there , pls share your thoughts
