What happens to the other cryptocurrencies if the Bitcoin goes to $ 2,000?

Some projects are surely going to disappear and many exchanges are going to close their doors i suppose. Only coins with strong supports are going to survive.

- Not only will some projects disappear, I believe most ico projects will disappear when they do not receive the appropriate investment, the collapse of bitcoin always creates very strong and direct influences, especially ico projects, everything is always very much related to bitcoin. The exchange will not close as you say but maybe they will no longer receive so much profit when investors and traders give up, trading volume will definitely become very low, strong crypto will still exist but I'm not sure people are interested when this situation has clearly stated that their loss is huge

Many of the rubbish projects will cease to exist. Like it has happened from the beginning. I saw many coins die but yes I saw other coins go x 10 or x 100 when Bitcoin was sitting at less than a thousand dollars. i think altcoins will always be pumped and dumped, irrespective as to what Bitcoin is doing. Even though generally when there is a Bitcoin dump, altcoins dump too because they are pegged to Bitcoin. Also we see the opposite happen and some coins with low market caps explode suddenly when they release something from their roadmap and are successful. I do agree though many fly by night projects will simply dissipate into thin air and no longer exist. I do hope though we see far more quality projects as we go into 2019 and beyond. Also there is Bitcoin halving occurring next year so I doubt Bitcoin can go under 2k next year.

And don't forget about financial component. Without money many startups will forced to close down. It wouldn't surprise me if some of projects will going to ask for a second round of funding like nem foundation.
