It will be good if India will join the list of the countries that legalized crypto currencies but to be honest I dont see that happening because there's alot of misconception happening between the Indian government concern the issue of crypto legalization. However, India is a country which somehow like China and they like the act of force control of people.

So the governments can enforce laws to prevent ownership of digital assets? That's a new one to most people. Especially those aware that the government corruption has held the rupee back 20 years from storing value in any way, making it more difficult to control the people who never valued the currency in the first place.

I stopped believing these 'anonymous press releases', some months ago there was news that some anonymous minister said about banning cryptos completely.

Let's see which 'anonymous' wins lmao

The most important thing his for the government to legalize it. I am sure the citizens are ready to abide by any legal rule from the government as long as the rule does not demand them depositing the bitcoins in a central bank.

At least, a country will totally legalize one of cryptocurrencies, especially BTC, and it won't take som much time. However, this legislation may not be by applied or accepted by bitcoin investors or supporters, if it harms to the concept or main aims of bitcoin. For example, this legislation means nothing, if it is implemented by ignoring decentralization or anonymity.

I think that legalization with strict rules is better than a ban. If in India legalize cryptocurrency, then other countries will follow the example of India and lechalize cryptocurrency.

How will India regulate the anonymous bitcoin exchanges?

https://www.bestbitcoinbuyers.com/best-bitcoin-exchanges-by-country/buy-bitcoin-in-india/

You can't. Decentralized exchanges are only going to increase over time.

As adoption increases, governments will get in line or start begging people to value their paper currency again.

Yeah in a sense it's better to see it regulated instead of a total ban.

As far as I know India is a democratic country so I don't know how you get the idea of them similar to China like forcing people to do what the government wants. They even have a hearing last year about how to regulate as well so it's very different atmosphere.

if you have the rules it's the same meaning that you can't escape what you want.
as the development of our times must be ready to accept the latest technology even without rules.

I think this is good news.
I mean, that's good, right? Is that what we want? We are wanting cryptocurrency has rules and regulations. And so that we have a regrouper in the crypto world (in India crypto world).
But this is only one side of the issue.
The main question is how tough we will be?
If I can't buy drugs for BTC, that is good.
But if I can not fully use the BTC is already bad.

In the end, countries that prohibit crypto currency, will give way. Even with strict rules. Because, it is part of technological progress. And they, certainly don't want to miss
