I assume you're talking about a tablet and not a regular wooden table in your post, but to directly answer your question, you can mine almost any cryptocurrency with a cellphone or tablet- it's just not going to be very fast or worthwhile. If you're looking to mine for profit, however, consider using FPGAs, ASICs or GPUs- they're much more powerful at mining compared to a single mobile ARM processor, and you'll be able to make some money if your electrical rates are low enough.

Do you Mean Cloud Mining or Actually Mining on Mobile Hardware / Device?

Cloud Mining can be accessed via most any device depending on the web format and design of the cloud services website / U.I.

Mining Dirctly from a mobile device mice mot do so well and might also have a few concerns associated with doing so: 1) Legitimacy 2) Risk / Being Compromised 3) Profitability

I am not promoting this nor have I looked into it beyond reading an article about it BUT Electronium is supposed to be implementing (or have) a mobile mining platform for people to be able to mine directly from their cell phones and I'm guessing tablets as well..

I don't hold any electronium but if you are limited on resources and need a mobile solution , maybe D.Y.O.R. on them and that option. ?

Anyways I hope that helped you out some ... If you find anything worth using or even not worth using , Please Post Updates To This Thread So We All Are Up to Speed On What Works And Doesn't

Best of Luck !!

Frankly, I don't think that it is useful to mine on the smartphone. You may try mining algo yespower on the smartphone (Cryply coin).

It won't be bad on the battery but it can hurt your cellphone CPU if you mine altcoin with your phone and it wont make you good profit in mining with a phone. So it's not worth it to mine with your phone because before you will never reach the ROI until your phone can ba broken or hardware damaged.

I suggest you guys better don't mine with your phone because it's not worth it.

You can mine Uplexa, use minergate app, Magi, electroneum (although it isn't really mining), MIB, Phoneum, cryply, Koto, Veco, Yenten, and other yespower coins. You just need to download a mining app and set it up for most of them. Uplexa, minergate, electroneum, MIB, and phoneum have their own apps that you can use and don't require much more than an address. But the rest of them you would have to download an app and set up like on a PC or mining rig.
