What's with these future dates? I think it's the second one I see in a few months here (notice it's in the article itself not SirWilliam's post).

It's just that it's from the print edition that comes out on the 15th but obviously published online first, guess they reference articles to the print edition date when they are not online-only...

To make a more serious comment, it's nice to see financial journalists and analysts so unsure about the outcome of something, not only in this article but also in many others. Many experienced professionals respect Bitcoin as an independent and unpredictable entity that has a life of its own. This is very positive in that it sharply contrasts with a dismissal of Bitcoin as a trivial technological novelty, fad or hit-or-miss ""product."
