I was considering opening up a pool and putting up as many coins as possible , but leaving that aside , even just like 5-10 coins maximum.

I am at work so I couldn't check around to see how hard or easy it is , I just wanted to ask you guys here , some of you probably even own couple of them. So what are your thoughts on having a pool? Is that a viable business? By viable I don't mean covering my living expenses , I mean does it make any profit at all or is it just a hobby thing you spend some money and never see that money back again?

Definitely its a profitable business which can somehow cover your living expenses as well but that depends on how popular your pool can go as its very hard to move people from what they are using atm but not impossible try attractive schemes on time support and yes one of the main pillars publicity, advertise it on forums or rent sign spaces etc are few idea i can give. good luck
