We are cashing out FIAT money out of Coins.ph to Security Bank and the bank are not directly engaging in cryptocurrency exchange business. What they don't accept is opening an account and your using Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency as a source of funds or income, They are just being careful for any AML issues that may arise in the future. So if you wan't to open an account with any bank don't ever mention bitcoin as your source of livelihood you get denied upfront. Start a small sari sari store so you have an alibi or a front for your bitcoin income.

Bank won't allow you to open an account without a valid proof of income or source of funds. If you can lie to the bank officer who is in charge for new accounts then its good. So saying its from cryptocurrency its a big redflag for them.

Hindi bawal ang cryptocurrencies as per BSP. May BSP Circular 944 sila na nilabas as Guidelines for Virtual Currencies. http://www.bsp.gov.ph/regulations/regulations.asp?id=3748Coins.ph is licensed by BSP - check the About page ng Coins.ph. Mahirap kumuha sa BSP ng license to operate as remittance and exchange of virtual currencies. If you can "side-step" na lang where your funds are coming from, then better, para wala na masyado tanong at hassle.

During the interview I was asked about my sources of income and the interviewer asked me if I am involved with Bitcoin and similar things and I honestly said yes but pointed out that this account is for PayPal and not for cryptocurrency transactions.
Ang reason na binigay ng interviewer is that the Central Bank has warned them about Bitcoin and similar business transactions as banks are not authorized to handle the same and if ever I am caught depositing or sending money from Bitcoin encashment to my account then the bank can forfeit the same money that's why the warning.
Totoo rin ata to sa iba pang bangko lalo na yung mga sikat at malalaki though I was able to deposit money to my Metrobank account before from Coins.Ph.

You might have talk to a wrong person, AFAIK, all banks are governed by the BSP and they only follow the same rules. There's no rules under the BSP law that prohibits the bank from accepting funds that are coming from BTC transaction, you should talk to the manager.

I remember when I first opened a bank account in Security Bank, I think last year, and I told the New Accounts Personnel that I have some funds that I receive from "Coins.ph" not necessarily Bitcoin itself. I didn't talk about it to them but I remember specifically talking about coins.ph. I told them that's it's legitimate and you could really load from it. Sabi ko na lang na extra lang din yun and I have work to support my needs. Maybe you could retry it again this year or something. Or mention mo lang coins.ph. I don't know if they know that it supports cryptocurrencies but we will see.
Segway lang. Article from Security Bank Website mentioning Bitcoin. https://www.securitybank.com/blog/uitf-vs-stocks-vs-bitcoin/

Cguro naman na experienced muna rin di dumating yun mga reference, pin kahit e-double send mo pa, tpos meron pa yun pag I withdraw muna pera tpos dilalabas sa Security ATM, Then may ma recieved kang message ng coins na succesfully withdraw na raw.
