Hello Guys,

As we all know that there is multiple scam accusations against CrashDoge, CrashingBitcoin, CrashingCrypto. Everyone need to know that they are misusing the name of bustabit where they have only purchased script from bustabit. But they are spreading that they have license under bustabit.

We are excited to announce the CrashingCrypto project. The CrashingCrypto project will be a network of crash games, licensed under the original Bustabit license.

In order to see our license, please visit the original Bustabit website at: https://bustabit.com/license.txt

I have seen on bustabit website that they have only purchased script not the license.

Quote
The following sites have purchased a non-distributable copy of the previous
version of bustabit's source code, exempting them from the requirements of the
AGPL:
 * crashbch.com, crashdoge.com, crasheth.com, crashingbitcoin.com, crashingcrypto.com, crashltc.com, crashnano.com
It is to notify everyone that bustabit follow strict action if any of their script purchaser suspect as a scammer. They mark them on their website if there is valid open scam accusation against the scammer.

Please take a look below:

Quote
* 7mbtc.com (credible scam accusation by vadoff: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=709185.msg21840393#msg21840393 )

Intention of my thread is to take proper action against those scammers who have already scam lot of users funds. I hope bustabit operator devans will take proper action against them and these projects will be marked as scam on their website soon. I have also submitted all info about this matter on their ANN thread

My reading of .../license.txt is these websites have purchased a license to use the bustabit script.

It is not clear what the terms of the license they purchased are.

There appears to be a scam accusations against the owner of those sites, and it would be a good idea not to deposit anything to any of those sites, especially after reading this.

I just saw your thread. I posted a similar reply to your post on my thread.

What CrashDoge is doing is not incorrect. They have indeed purchased a license for bustabit and they are free to advertise that fact. Sadly, just because they are a fraudulent site, it doesn't mean their license gets revoked. They do still own the license. Keep in mind that just because they have a license, this is not an endorsement from bustabit (devans can back me up on that fact).

I am sure that at the bare minimum, devans will include the open scam accusation thread(s) in the license.txt file so that everyone can be aware. The best case scenario, of course, would be for him to pull the licenses entirely, but I doubt that'll happen. We'll see what devans has to say when he's less busy.

I like gambling. Probably currently trying to figure out how to pay next month's rent.

CrashDoge has indeed purchased a license for bustabit's v1 software, which is why they are listed at https://www.bustabit.com/license.txt. Since StackGambler's accusation looks credible I have added a link to his thread in that file until the situation is resolved. However, the licensing agreement does not allow me to revoke software licenses bustabit has sold.

Perhaps it's also worth noting that being listed in the license.txt file is not an endorsement by bustabit. Its sole purpose is to allow third parties to verify that a site has purchased a software license from bustabit.

Its devans responsibility now to mark those scammers and I hope actions will be taken soon. Its a matter of concern that scammers can purchase script license from bustabit and run their scam activity as same as  CrashDoge, CrashingBitcoin, CrashingCrypto. Finally which users scammed by them got no solution. Maybe devans will mark them or pull the license but is that a complete solution. Perhaps its kinda mental satisfaction for them who lose their fund.

devans has already marked them on his license file. Maybe there is something to be said about updated protocols regarding bustabit licenses. For example, something like, if a DT member tags a scammer, then devans should probably pull the licenses until the scam accusation is resolved, or at least use the money he made to repay the victims. (This is outlandish and of course he is under no obligation to do this whatsoever... it would just be cool. I mean, he did make 700+ BTC in 1 year from bustabit  Grin)

I think when they refer to as "license" they are referring to the license of the script they have bought to bustadice and they aren't exactly referring to be licensed under Bustabit. To keep it simple is the License page of Bustabit is only showing the list of people who have bought their scrip from them and they aren't exactly running under their name.

Good to see that bustabit already added scam accusation thread link on their licence page. Yes bustabit just list websites who have bought script from them. Bustabit isn't responsible for scam or not they are encourage. I think bustabit doing right thing by adding accusations link. So if someone use their name and link everyone will aware about accusation link. I appreciate bustabit actions against scammers.

Basically script license has no relation with partnership IMO. Usually web developers purchase template from "Envato" platform but website owner can't announce that they have a partnership with Envato. So its pretty much clear that this guys used the fake partnership news on their website. Honestly every single scammer have their different tricks to make investors fool. As like as it those scammers use their own tricks to attract investors on their projects. personally I wanna give thanks to bustabit for adding scam accusation link on their license page.
