I get my news better and faster from other internet users than you could from any media company.
By the time a media company starts working on the story you could have read all of the tweets while it is happening and often live streams from amateurs in the area if you are paying attention at the right time.
This is actually part of the problem, not the solution. Amateur video, tweets, and social media posts don't show the whole story and often leave people misinformed. The commercial media outlets are always trying to be the first to report about a story, and may even use social media posts in an attempt to beat their competition to the punch.
The solution to these issues is actually going to be very difficult to implement, because it must come from us, the consumers. We need to hold media outlets accountable for their misinformation; starting with CNN, the biggest joke among the bunch. They are truly and unabashedly the media arm of the Democratic party.
Without the Russia Collusion Delusion, and before Pelosi provided them with their next script on "Health Care," recently CNN ran a story trying to
credit Obama for the gains in economic growth under Trump. Never mind that the story completely ignores the policies that actually affect the economy, and are totally obvious to those of us who are not blinded by our political leanings. Another story (that I cannot find now) tries to convince us that the economy is actually gone to shit, despite our growing wages and savings accounts.
Having been completely ridiculed for this pile stinking horse shit, what do they do? Days later they completely contradict themselves by publishing a story about how a
poll suggests we are happy with the current economy under Trump. Yet, they stop short of actually crediting Trump for these gains.
CNN needs to die! Now! Not a slow, but a sudden and final death. All the Jim Acostas and Don Lemons need to be fired, and never given the opportunity to pollute our airways with their biased BS ever again. They can always learn to code.
