BITCONFOne of the main objectives of the creation of 42DC is to enable the financing of BITCONF. Organizing and holding the largest Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain event in Latin America requires a lot of financial resources.
For those who don't know, the last BITCONF met, on May 4 and 5, 2019, at the Rebouças Convention and Event Center, in São Paulo, more than 1,700 participants. There were more than 80 speakers; more than 80 lectures, mini courses and workshops; main amphitheater with capacity for 700 people; other two auditoriums with capacity for 250 and 200 people; exhibition area with more than 30 stands; leisure and rest areas, with puffs, cell phone chargers, water, coffee; authoring track, with spacecraft race; poker tournament; artistic exhibition, etc.
Offering all this quality content, creating the conditions for the huge network promoted, in a safe environment, with medical care teams, with simultaneous translations of international lectures, with recording of the content on all stages, with quality coffee break, does not cost little. This last edition came close to $ 800,000.00 to be held.
We are looking for ways to make possible the financing of BITCONF without the sponsorship of companies, or if there is sponsorship, which is complementary, and not the main way to finance the event. The creation of 42DCoin is one of the ways we thought we could help achieve this goal. 2 million 42DCs are destined to be negotiated, to help in the realization of BITCONF.
