When Ethereum POS will be implemented??

I don't really understand the impact of POS except that POS impacts miners to be encouraged to hold their coins longer because now POW are no longer enforced so miners have to hold or collect as many coins as possible so they can get more rewards and I think the impact this is very good for the continuity of ethereum because the more holders, the stronger the foundation of the price of the coin so in my opinion there is nothing wrong with all this

I also think PoS will make the price of ETH go down, i see a lot of coin who after pass to full PoS the price goes down a lot, i don't know if is because maybe bear market but i think full PoS will affect the price.

in fact its the other way it will drive eth price up because people need to stake in order to help the network and get the reward. i heard from an article it is quite profitable

I wonder if Ethereum POS will even generate any profit? I mean, for anyone holding less than a couple thousands...
