Hi,
I've got a 50 percent of my trading capital at Bitmex.
I have the whole capital shorted at it's XBT value in order to hedge it's USD value
Now the problem is I've noticed over the weekend the funding fees have been higher than recent times. As a result I'm getting hit with fees on 50% of my trading capital, when
I'm only trading with 5-20% of it, 30% maximum..

Am I right that you pay fees to 'not be in the market' / hedging your usd value?
If so, I'm trying to figure out how much to put in my account. Should I just have 30% as that's all I'll use tops?

And is it also true; if I'm say -600(x1) or -600(x5) I'll still pay 0.025% of 600 come funding time? I wouldn't pay 0.125% funding fee if I'm 5x..

Thanks,
TG
