I always tried to find a balance in my time between work, family, friends, forums, and time for self-development.
There are always times when some news taking a large part of our time and our thinking. I understand that, but what is the effect of political events that will not affect your life directly? Such as events in Venezuela, Sri Lanka or France.
How do you get rid of thinking about such events? Or any events that will not affect your life/economy/country mainly?

Before I start let me congratulate you mate you are now a Hero member rank. Wink

Well, as long as your lifestyle and your job is still far away from politics then you should not let your mind see it.

I assume that you're a family guy that is doing his job and trying to balance your life. For now, since you are not yet in the real game, you may disregard watching it or understand everything from politics. Focus on your own business, once you get your business large that is the time the politics will enter your life and that is the best time for you to hustle with it.

So for now, disregard it first.

Honestly, i don’t have time now to watch news on television, and I don’t want to watch anymore because you can just see many crimes and incidents everyday that brokes my heart and I don’t want to feel sad so i have to stay away on television. I do have a great balance in life, and I’m happy that i have spend more time with my family. I just pray always for all the victims of terrorism, fortuitous events and other incidents and pray that my family will be safe in times like this.

Don't watch or read international news. Spend more time on your job, get engaged with your friends, etc. At some point, you'll no longer think about that news.

But if you can't stop thinking about it, then spend some time helping those in needs. Regardless of what your job is, you can always donate to a charity organization that focuses on helping people in conflict areas, and so on. At least, that's how I do it.

I'm retired now, so I spend a lot of time reading about current events, and trying to track back the history that led up to them. For example - the "vision" of Cecil Rhodes and the Rothschilds that led to the creation of the EU. The way the public were tricked into accepting fractional reserve banking, and the creation of Unicorns.

I registered a few useful domain names, and I really think it is time I started to use them to open up some discussions. I think it is wrong that thousands of citizens in Venezuela are being killed, just to preserve the Koch brothers oil empire for example.

The question appeals to me as “how can you live and not breathe at the same time?” It’s inevitable to rid thinking of such events especially when it comes to politics since it’s happening to us, our country, the environment. We are all affected but not in the same ways. We differ in earning classes, jobs, and lives - so it’s also hard to say that we experience the same thing but what usually happens is a domino effect of these events. Although we can look at the bright side of all of these, after all, there is good news for us. With this good news, we can get together and celebrate - maybe we can even forget the adverse events for a while. Perhaps we have to look at these events or in life, positively. We shouldn’t stress ourselves too much on things we have no control of.
