Great day, I want to appeal a friends account zacxavier for being permanently banned. With the email address that was given is still unresponsive, I want to also ask forum members for the possible reasons why the account was banned. Give me a break of forum rules, that would just sound uncanny. Also to add, why there is no such warning prior to permanent ban?

Hard to explain.

Avoid the ban:

The first time you create 2 accounts in 2017, @zacxavier, was created in Nev, and @ aervin11 is also the same year a different month oct.

But your account 1 has been banned first: aervin11  (Archived)

1. Bpip

And now following your second account: zacxavier  (Archived)

2. Bpip

The same type of fate (blocked).

Miscellaneous:

In other cases you are also involved in fraud stealing other people's work.

I stumbled by accident over a scam account that uses YouTube videos from different accounts to gain some bounty tokens - and I had a hard time finding a way to report the account in a streamlined fashion. I just gave a negative trust. The user running the scam was a bit salty on one Telegram channel I am in - and was aggressive - but wrote proper English.

I backwards searched the Telegram username @MyNameisLov3 and found one post from the account that had a YouTube video in a bounty - so I started to dig deeper and found another YouTube video linked as "own work". Well - yeah - two different persons with a different voice on two different YouTube accounts.

Well yeah - there has to be a way to streamline stuff like that better - to report a list of posts that clearly shows "there is something wrong". Right now Bitcointalk is just overflooded by Scam/Bounty-Shit-Poster/-Stuff.

I do not think, your account will return.

Hard to explain.

Sarcastic.

So with all those linking accounts, I think Expert3 account might as well get banned? Since it is proven that 2 accounts was used by only 1 user. Thanks btw.

How about this:

From day one, Bitcoin was marketed to the world as a fast & cheap global payments network. Now the BTC crowd says that's wrong and that Bitcoin should be a slow & expensive "store-of-value" not meant to be used as currency.

Who is trying to steal the Bitcoin brand, again?

The twitter account of @Bitcoin, no less ...

Some people here have (fortunately) ways of looking-up intra-Bitcointalk plagiarism in a fairly efficient manner.  Extra-Bitcointalk is, as far as I’m aware, a manual procedure, using mainly Google as a tool for this, at least in my case. Normally you can try to find a post that seems oddly well written in relation to other posts from the same profile, and give those a go with Google (try a paragraph or exact phrases that standout).

Couldn't agree more. Btw, once and for all, how could you be able to track those plagiarized posts? It is indeed commendable but I am out of merits btw

Also to add, why there is no such warning prior to permanent ban?
There is no need for additional warning since the grounds for permanent ban were already laid out in the forum rules. There is no strike 1 or strike 2 here.
