Can somebody explain me in detail why do large block sizes greatly increase the number of orphan blocks on the Blockchain, and the possibility of a reorganization? There's been news lately of Bitcoin SV (not promoting it or anything) suffering from blockchain reorganizations due to its high block size of 128MB.
On the other hand, Bitcoin Cash also has a high block size (although smaller than BSV) of 32MB but it hasn't experienced anything similar (as far as I'm aware). As such, what could be the reason for this?
I'm asking this only for educational/learning purposes (and for curiosity too), since I'm experimenting with a cryptocurrency of my own. Any thoughts, recommendations, or guidance will be highly appreciated.
