I've been looking for good alt coins and want to know what everyone thinks. Is the market still available for alt coins to survive?  I want to diversify my portfolio and I found this coin: https://globaltoken.org/

Does anyone think this coin is fundamentally sound? I want to invest in it but I want to know what people think about it. Basically, I think it has legitimate value as something to diversify against Bitcoin and I think it can go up a lot in value as:

1. It has multi-algorithm support, so it's very accessible to miners
2. It has a 10 MB block size, so it's like Bitcoin cash - But it also has masternodes, what do you guys think about that?
3. It has merge mining, so you can mine it while mining other coins I believe.

So my argument for investing in this coin, apart from it being continually developed is that it's like a 20% hedge against Bitcoin since it's like bitcoin but very undervalued.

What would be the reason for this coin to fail? I want to hear other people's opinions, but this would be a pick of mine for something that is worth a low value but won't go anywhere. Is my logic sound? I heard recently that, "Everything except Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP etc." are all going to die out as it's the natural selection process now for all these coins to prosper or die.

Does anyone think this coin will go somewhere? I've looked at hundreds of alt coins and this one stands out as something that's going to do something.

Anyone have some good thoughts on what alt coins are doing well? What else am I missing in picking a good alt coin that has good value? In all honesty, I want this coin to do well but I'm asking this board what they think about the current news and why the coins aren't going up in value much (alt coins). Also, are alt coins still available to go somewhere?

What's some issues we should keep in mind while choosing alt coins? Do you think that the value of alt coins honestly is tied to their use of a currency or is it something else? What else can we analyse while picking alt coins? I'd like to hear your views.

In other news I hear IOTA is a good pick because it's going somewhere, does anyone think there are other coins like this or could be the new Ripple?
