What are bomb tokens?

If you go to their website you see a countdown of the tokens which are to be burned. It is at 974,441 right now and goes down by 100's per hour.
It goes down with every transaction is done.
So what is the point of it when the counter eventually runs to 0?

It is an experiment I know but it is a legit alt coin to buy and not lose your crypto when it quantity is completed burned up?
Doesnt make much sense to me to invest into it.
