According to this link: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/60565/is-it-possible-to-use-xpub-address-to-monitor-balance-from-previously-generated

You should be able to import xpub into Blockchain.com. Tested this and it works.

Question 1: How come when I enter the YPUB into Blockchain.com, it does not work?

Question 2: How come neither XPUB nor YPUB work when entered into another service like https://blockstream.info/?

Thanks

Blockchain.com doesn't support ypub key like the above said their wallet is not updated

Question 2: How come neither XPUB nor YPUB work when entered into another service like https://blockstream.info/?

You can also try to other blockchains to import the YPUB key since blockchain.com doesn't support YPUB you can check other blockchain from here 8 Blockchain explorers

Let me ask if what are you trying to achieve here?

Did you generate the yPUB from your hardware wallet? and you want to make a watch only wallet?

Check this post below
There is Watch only Bitcoin Wallet[1] which is an open source software that should allow you to watch multiple addresses at the same time , I don't think It sends any kind of notification though.
Another tool to really consider using is blockonomics.co[2] which is an online service that does the watches the address + notify you through your email address .

If you don't necessarily need to share your master public key with a random server (a.k.a. to be able to view your balance everywhere without your own computer),
you might as well use a desktop wallet (e.g. electrum) to monitor your balance.

You can easily use your hardware wallet with electrum to spend your funds, and without your HW being connected, you have the ability to monitor your balances (without sharing your master public key with anyone).

And just to add on to what @bob123 said above, if you use Ledger then you are in luck. You can easily set up watch only wallets on desktop and mobile phones (using their apps).

Other options available to you together with links to guides on setting up watch only wallets (link):
- Electrum on desktop
- Samourai on Android
- bitWallet on iPhone

Also, if you are going to drop your xpub, ypub etc into a block explorer service. https://www.blockonomics.co/ (as mentioned by BitMaxz above) is good as it supports them.

Hope this helps.
