I highly doubt blockchain technology will be used for voting on the third world countries. I hate to say that but governments are not there for help and they are bigger than any threat against the current development of bitcoin.

Its hard to be used because of the corrupt politicians they will block this propaganda for the sake of their power. Imaging having a clean election is very rare especially in a developing country. Blockchain technology will never be part of the voting system, they have to look for a way to cheat it so let's not think about that.

If voting systems are created on the basis of blockchain technologies, then it is possible and possible to obtain reliable voting results without falsification. In the short term I also do not believe in a vote using blockchain. But in the long run we have every chance for a cleaner vote.

Yes, using blockchain for elections specifically is like using a sword to cut a loaf of bread. There are less robust solutions that require less logistics.
