Can you use Whatsminer M3 power supply for Bitmain S9?

Just fired back up some of my S9's but have found that many of my power supplies are no longer functioning.  Most of the obvious issue is that the fan for the power supply no longer spins.  Is there a replacement fan that can be sourced somewhere for the APW3?

Or

I happen to have many outdated but still operating power supplies for the old Whatsminer M3.  Same number of plugs as the APW3 but there is an extra "control" cable to the Whatsminer power supply that plugs into the M3 miner control board.  I could try to plug it up (minus the control board plug) and fire it up but didn't want to burn out a good S9 if someone could advise me that its a bad idea.

it says 2200w , so if that's true , and it does have 10*6pin cables then there is not a single reason why it wouldn't run an S9 perfectly, that extra little cable can be ignored as it's not even there.

If you can find PSUs that are dead but still have a working fan, you could take that fan and use it to replace the dead fan on a working PSU. However, this is time-consuming and potentially dangerous as well.

Discharge the psu before disassembly (electricity holding capacitors are evil). The various methods are explained online, but one trick that (usually) works is to turn it on while plugged to the computer but not to mains; YMMV.
