Hi Everybody,

The old thread about BitVinyl is now in an obsolete category.  I still think that using a fundamentally intangible digital currency to purchase a fully analog tangible musical disc is the perfect match!

I have a CSV with over 1000 different records for sale!

Email bitvinyl@gmail.com for a copy of the CSV.

UPDATE 6/17/12

I've just gotten the new inventory list up!

Here is the dropbox link (thanks to O_Shovah for that idea!)

Here's the link:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/85965402/BitVinyl%206-17-12.csv

Email bitvinyl@gmail.com for orders.

Shipping is:

1 BTC US shipping for any size order with one or more 12" records
.5 BTC US shipping for a single 7" record or tape;
1.5 BTC for a single LP to Canada + .25 BTC  btc for each additional
2 BTC for a single LP overseas + .5 BTC  for each additional, up to 4 pounds
1.5 BTC for a single 7" overseas + .25 BTC  for each additional
1 BTC for a single 7" to Canada + .25 BTC for each additional

Hey everyone,

Sorry for taking so long to update this thread. Scott sent me Black Sabbath - Paranoid about a week ago. It arrived quickly, and in great shape. Not to mention sealed, if the pictures don't make that obvious.

I have to say, after hearing FLACs of the 24bit Paranoid DVD audio discs, the 180 gram vinyl really sounds incredible. I don't have the best turntable setup so it does have quite a few crackles and pops, but on the whole it sounds much warmer and seems to have better imaging than the FLACs. Could just be my laptop sound card, but I do think there's something magical about vinyl.

Anyways, Scott is a stellar seller. Very responsive and helpful, and with reasonable prices. He has quite the selection, and probably at least a few records that you'd like. I highly recommend purchasing vinyl through him, especially with record stores so hard to find these days.

Thanks Scottingham - great list. I took the liberty of piping it into a Google spreadsheet and adding conversion into USD and GBP based on 7-day exchange rates:

Now just to look through it, and get me some cash Wink
