So, Neteller has an option to transfer some of your funds into crypto (I chose bitcoin (duh)). But for the life of me I can't figure out how you're supposed to sell it. Apparently I need some BTC wallet but I thought neteller functioned as that as that's the wallet that contains my BTC...

Anyways, how are you to sell these bitcoin?

Neteller is just an online wallet, similar to paypal.

Do you have to buy the bitcoins on the same exchange as you want to sell them? Or can you buy them on, f.e, bitpanda, and then sell them on, f.e, coinbase?

how are you to sell these bitcoin?

you create an account in this bitcoin wallet https://greenaddress.it/en/ and then you use this site

https://paybis.com/buy-bitcoin-with-neteller

You can find more sites to exchange Neteller for bitcoin here

https://www.bestchange.com/bitcoin-to-neteller.html

PS: I advise you to be very careful with Neteller and Skril. are 2 sites that are not very reliable, they can ask you for many documents any time they want and at that time they block your account

You can buy Bitcoin from any exchange or individual and sell them anywhere successfully as long as the exchange isn't an outright scam. Any fiat exchange should work if you're trying to sell the Bitcoin you have in Neteller. Electrum wallet should work for temporary storage or alternatively a web wallet like Greenaddress works as well, though ideally you should hold coins long-term on an offline wallet.

You will also need to submit KYC documents like a passport and pictures for most fiat exchanges. If you do not already have an account on a fiat crypto exchange I would suggest getting those documents and proceeding with the signup process on whatever exchange you plan on using.

The bitcoins you deposit there will become USD/EUR. It's not possible to withdraw them from the ATM. You can only send them to other individuals.

If you are referring to the ability to buy and sell there, I don't think there is a possibility of withdrawing, at least not yet.

Avoid to deal with Skrill/Neteller when it comes to crypto, at least not directly with them. Use third party services like BitPanda or trade with other individuals.

It is a lie, you deposit bitcoins tbere it becomes converted to fiat. I highly doubt the credibility of this thread creator.

Completely correct, they're only handy when you want to use Bitcoin to pay on websites that only accept Neteller for example.
Other than that, they indeed do not allow withdraws of Bitcoin and you can also not use your Bitcoin balance with their Mastercard.

Other than that, they're pretty reliable, I don't agree at all with Slow death saying that they're unreliable.
Once you are verified, you will not have any issues with them.
