I don't think so, but if this application really functions maybe it will be useful for law enforcement or institutions that play a role in the crypto industry to simplify their work, it's just that this application really works? because as far as I know if this is true, it might only be able to track a few crypto, but if tracking anonymous cryptocurency still seems to not work

Tracking privacy coins will not work with this tool or any tracking tool i bet that is why government hate privacy coins, few exchanges are even delisting them, smart criminals are not using bitcoin to buy whatever bad people are used to, they use privacy coins instead

Sounds interesting, but this kind of app should be available for only law enforcements not for public use, if not there will be lots of abuses with that app either way its cool and of cos many people will have interest to atleast try it out and see how it works

I thought it was interesting too that it is open to the public. I wonder if ciphertrace provides different levels

For an typical trader, I don't think we need this kind of tools so I'm not going to download and use this one, and I don't trust Ciphertrace though, yes they are doing something for the crypto ecosystem, but I still have my doubts. So I'm still in the middle here, it could be abused as well and that is my main concern here. I think this should be for investigators and authorities used alone, as ordinary traders like me will just be paranoid of every coins you will got and will always do check if it is tainted or not, LOL.

It's a good idea and a nobel attempt to help eliminate fraud from the crypto space but I don't see the likely hood of this app effectively tracking privacy coins. These scammers use them alot and more sore, Wallet Creation is free and easy so they can always create a new one

Same inputs too! This kind of tool would be most likely to be relevant for investigations but as said above this do really have some cons yet it would be prone to abuse.
Anyone can taint or flagged out addresses as they want and in result it would give out false reputation of such address and into its owner.As trader, i dont even have the time either my coins are dirty or not.Same as yours ive been hearing out about Ciphertrace existence but i dont take it too seriously on what they are trying to do or contribute into this crypto community.They are solely focused about tracing up everything but come to think or in depth understanding that there are still lots of holes for their investigation to be useless since there are lots of ways on how to redirect it.
