Post doesn't need to be beautiful. If anything, adding too much unnecessary colors and resizing stuff unnecessarily actually makes things worse. As long as your post is good enough to read, and that you use proper formatting and proper punctuation, it's good enough.

Probably don't exist a "definite guide to create a beautiful post" (if exists, please link ) you use the BBCode to format as you like.
The only limitation is you cannot use images for rank permissions (more info https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.0)

If you are going to promote something or create a tutorial, guide or something and you want it to make eye-catchy and add some images, For your account pictures are not visible only links will be seen. If you are just posting and communicate with other people here there is no need to add some enhancement to your post, just the message is enough.

But, don't thinking too much about your thread for the format. People more concerned about your quality topic than the good format and beautiful.

There are a lot of ways to make your posts beautiful, and a user in here (CarnagexD) managed to somehow make a thread of a good formatting for users like you whom want to have a pleasant post appearances. As already replied by:

But, don't thinking too much about your thread for the format. People more concerned about your quality topic than the good format and beautiful.

But then again,  having good-looking posts doesn't adds up to the content's quality and usefulness. Even ugly and simple threads/replies were more fruitful than those designed ones.

Making your post beautiful is not really necessary. All you need is to make your post easy to understand and catchy that will make people read your post and learn too. Learning Bbcodes would do the trick. When adding images in your post will need a Bbcode use for images and other Bbcodes for table for example. Search for threads that are merited many times and you'll see how they create their thread useful and helpful. There are some post that are not beautiful and yet many people check it due to good quality and constructive.

It all depends on your creative skills but it's not necessary to be called quality posts.

If you still wants to get better looking posts than boring three or four lines you can try these things:

• bold or use glow to highlight key points.
• Stop posting wall of texts
• Changing the font size for headings only if you are going to posts a few thousands of words in your post.
• And using lists tags like me to point out things

can help you to modify your boring posts.

It seems that the "sub post" you have called is quoting?
If you want to split a quoted post and answer its two different parts, you must remember that there must always be a marking before the quoted text and closing sign at the end of quoted text. After closing sign you can write your text and to open second part of quoted text you need to mark one more time opening sign. For example to split to three parts your post i need to do it in that way:

Not sure exactly what you want to achieve, since I cannot decipher the intention behind "how to start a sub para under post".

Regardless, if you plan on making an Ann thread, they there is some fancy stuff that may come in handy. For regular posts and threads, bold, cursive, underline, tables and lines are the core elements, and normally making it too fancy (i.e rainbow colouring letters and so forth) is not going to go down too well.
