Noticed from Walkex ANN thread that they are creating new account themselves for shilling on their thread. I am saying that because 98% reply their by newbie with one activity. So its pretty much sure that they are creating account themselves.

Archived their thread : http://archive.is/oWaGi
Also they are posting on their local language as well and it's not possible to report one by one. So I have reported whole thread.

I am posting that because they are creating new account continuously and I believe that all account should be nucked.

Just report them, with a note that "spam to bump thread, more in this thread". Moderator who is responsible for that board will receive reports and handle them later. That note above will help them to know what generally happens in that thread.

One can have more than one account so they can't be banned for creating multiple accounts. They can be banned if they are breaking other rules like low level spam, plagiarism, meaningless posts etc. The best thing to do is report all the posts that are breaking certain rules and hope for the best.

Although true you won't be banned for simply having multiple accounts, these users were posting a lot of "<nonsense> Great project <nonsense>" sort of posts which are obviously trying to bump the thread. In these instances I don't mind users reporting one post, and letting us moderators know that there's multiple others in the thread. I'll then go through the thread when I have time.

If those accounts used to bump not only that thread, but also to bump others. If there are proofs that those accounts used for bumping services, they all might be nuked. Like what happened and handled with Yobit bumping service weeks ago. I don't know (there is no proof) that spam attack weeks ago actually originated by Yobit or not, but the fact is all accounts related to that spam attack nuked.
Massive spam bot attack underway

If this accounts were created just for the purpose of bumping threads, then i think more action should be taking on such accounts as they are offering nothing to the bitcointalk community, instead they are making here look a mess.

The problem is much of this occurs everywhere around the forum, and the moderators are doing their best to act on reports, but there are so many of them, I suggest once an account is discovered as one that is mainly for bumping threads, it should be banned temporarily and if no change is made by the user, they should be permanently banned.

Seems moderators removed all spam by newbie. Its pretty clear that they have created few account just for bump their ANN thread. I know it's not appropriate to ban or nuke just for single mistake but sometimes moderators should consider few accounts why they have been created. At least temp ban like a week would be appropriate. So they will not able to spam instantly.

However, thanks to moderators whoever clean whole spam from the ANN thread. This is the lesson for spammer and project management as well.

There's also aa possibility that they are employing a bumping service, which is very rampant nowadays, so many announcement threads are caught using such services if you analyze each account that bumps their thread you will  see a pattern that they are posting on the same threads over and over again

Most of the accounts were nuked as all of their replies were posting the same "great project" nonsense. A few of them accounts only had their posts deleted, but most of them were nuked. Temp bans are good, but considering moderators can't issue those, and only global moderators plus can I'm afraid the amount of these types of reports will likely be too much. So if they're obvious cases they'll likely be nuked instead.
