Anyone following NASA Artemis mission?

I'm sure i will land there someday, at least i got my Kerbal Space Program experience :3

Jokes aside, the official page clearly says "by 2024". This probably makes use of their new capsule, if not one of the private ones. It also mentions getting ready to go Mars in 2028, lets hope all these plans survive administration change, which tend to cut short anything Nasa tries.

I would rephrase your question, Who will land a human on the Moon next?. I think the Chinese also are planning a manned mission after their chang'e probes success landings and beautiful photographs.

Now someone tell the Israelis to stop polluting the Moon, get their probes properly brake in time...

For science.

Moon landing will probably won't be just for science but for profit too.

There are lot of precious metals, oxygen and water that can be extracted from moon (oxygen and water can be used as a fuel).

And already there are companies that plan space explorations to mine precious resources, for example "Planetary resources" and "Consensys space".

It's more viable to land on Mars than moon since Mars have water and soil in a much more liveable environment.

How long have we been on Earth? Thousands of years. And we are still finding out stuff we never knew about our planet before. So, how can we know what the moon has inside? We have already found that it has gigantic caverns - https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/257708-scientists-detect-massive-caverns-moon-house-colony.

We barely know anything about either the moon or Mars. It makes way more sense to go to the moon, develop it, or at least find out that it can't be developed. We don't know that there isn't water inside the moon. But we do know that the moon is always about a quarter of a million miles away, while Mars is millions, even at its nearest.

One major point about developing the moon first is, the only practical method of space flight that we literally have available (although it hasn't been built yet), is the original Orion Project from the 1950s - https://newatlas.com/orion-project-atom-bomb-spaceship/49454/. This method can be safely developed on the moon, and safely used from there... and will make trips to Mars take a couple of months rather than a couple of years... WHEN WE ARE READY FOR MARS.

The moon is by far the best option for now.

But the question is about moon mate 😂

Though I like your answer because it’s more appropriate to explore Mars for more valuable benefits as people now are looking for earths extension since in future we will be filling this whole planet  and needed back up or reservations lol

I feel that landing on the moon will not be a priority anymore in the future
because currently, the ambitious target of the US is the planet Mars
just look at how one of the great technology entrepreneurs Elon Musk is very ambitious to make life on Mars
this indicates that the moon landing is no longer interesting.

BIG WINNER!

^^^ The Mars idea is simply something that tickles the desires of people who want to be free from the oppressive governments of Earth, including the USA government. The moon is too close for comfort, even though it is way more practical. In other words, it is a psychological public relations idea that Musk is pushing.

^^^ Practical?

No not at all, not only is it not practical, it's not possible to land what appears to be a homeless tweekers shelter made from cardboard, tinfoil, curtain rods and decorated with leftover stolen bicycle parts on a 32 mile wide disk of electrical plasma a few thousand miles away.

Implying that's possible is a sociopathic methamphetamine induced psychological public relations idea you absolutely flaming communist jackass. Folks, this asshole is trying to make a monkey out of you!

I don't believe anybody but you thought about landing on all that stuff you say. But... if any of it is sitting right on the exact spot on the moon where we are landing, our thrusters will simply blow it out of the way.

Btw. You really should have more respect for yourself than to talk about yourself this way, even if you are trying to make a monkey out of people.

Yes,somewhere I read NASA is preparing for a spaceship to be landed on Mars 2020 which is not going to have any human being as far as I know but the real think is Elon Musk also preparing for it and more advanced than governments to bring a colonization on Mars in the next decade itself.
