I'm looking at selling off 50 plates of Norman Rockwell for a quilter from Crypto Quilts.

I have very little understanding of them and if anyone here knows the market or interested give me a shout.

I don't know about the specific line you have there, but unfortunately I always see stacks and stacks of Norman Rockwell plates at second hand shops for cheap. Do some searches on eBay for "sold" items to be sure.

My friends wife spent around 100k, 40 years ago, adjusted for inflation on some plates that are worthless now, he keeps saying he is going to use them as target practice hasn't happened yet

I found an article that lays it out fairly well. https://www.mlive.com/homeandgarden/2008/06/rockwell_plates_not_worth_a_lo.html
Nothing has changed in the 11 years since. My wife actually has a few around the house, she likes the nostalgic family scenes. She was shocked when I mounted them on the wall for her, then I said the mounting hardware was more valuable so Im not to worried. I got a pretty hard stare that day  Tongue
