You should have stated the coin that you have and the exchange that you were talking about. There's no perfect exchange but if I were you, I would focus on a reputable and well-trusted exchange like Binance. As for me, they're providing a good service. It has been consistent and their team is reliable as well. In every exchange, there will always be lapses and traffic but we can reach out on them regarding our issues.

What do you mean by slow transaction speed? Are you paying enough miners fee when sending a transaction to the exchange? If you pay low transaction speed, there is nothing the exchange can do to speed up the transaction. Most of the exchanges are supposed to credit your account instantly as soon as the requested number of confirmation has been reached. The same goes for withdrawing your currency.
