HOW TO LINKED MERCATOX TO METAMASK

hello all masters.

here I am looking for a solution to be able to connect the mercatox account to the Metamask wallet because I've twice sent several tokens to the deposit address on mercatox but it never appeared on my balance. then I asked the customer service and they answered that the contract address had been swapped.

I think if Mercatox can be linked to Metamask, then there is a possibility I can send it back to my wallet.

Are you sure you are on the correct Mercatox site? You may have used a phishing site but then again metamask would have detected a phishing site as soon as you would open it.

I think your best option is to talk to the support system which you already mentioned. If the deposit address has been changed then you are supposed to double check before depositing. Still most of the time the site can clear this problem but they are not obliged to do so. Be careful with the address where you are sending from now on.

Mercatox doesn't provide the functionality of linking metamask with internal wallet. Last time I used Mercatox, it was a CEX or in other words centralized exchange. It means that you sent the tokens to the wallet address whose private key is owned by mercatox, not you.

If you can explain your case in more details then maybe I can help you more. If possible share the screenshot of your message to customer support and their reply after hiding any personal details in message.

I've noticed that there are many complaints about the work of the Mercatox support team. Nevertheless, I think the only way you can solve the issue is through the pressure on the support team and posting complaints on the Mercatox social media pages (especially Twitter). If you want to use Metamask then it's their duty to assist you.

What was the token that you sent to Mercatox? I think the reason why it didn't appear there was because you sent an old token. I mean the ticker would be the same but the contract address is now different. Better check with the team that gave you those tokens and see if there did a token swap. Linking Metamask to Mercatox won't help you solve your problem if that was the case. It's impossible anyway.

i dont think he can use metamask to use the wallet address from that exchange and they are the one who can send it back to the owner if ever.
The only option is to ask support if they can do that for you or else its gone, mercatox will own that token. If its true that its change the contract then you send different tokens in that exchange not the one you are sending.

I think is not possible as there are different, but anyway ask support and maybe they will tell clear if is possible or no.
