**Bounty - paying $30 for a solution**

Hi.
I've forked Bitcoin-Seed and I am trying to implement it on my own coin, since it has been using IRC Dependency which is flagged as a malware/virus by several anti-viruses.

I changed what needs to be changed in order for it to kick in, but it seems like it doesn't connect/work.

I'm sure it's a small issue that I have missed, and one of you guys had already experienced it could save me some time and efforts.

I will pay a fee for the guy who succeeds in helping me.

Details:
DNS: dnsseed.linda-wallet.com
IP: 104.238.176.141

Forked coin:
https://github.com/nisanb/Linda

Forked seeder:
https://github.com/nisanb/LindaCoinSeeder

I followed several tutorials and already used google a lot.

When I activate the server (-m d is added cause it requires me):
./dnsseed -h dnsseed.linda-coin.com -n 104.238.176.141 -m d

I get:
[18-02-13 16:55:18] 0/2 available (2 tried in 12s, 0 new, 0 active), 0 banned; 0 DNS requests, 0 db queries

When I start up 2 nodes (using the forked coin) nothing is changed.

Thanks in advance,
Nisan.

I am not too sure what the original posters exact issue was in this case, but I just want to point out that nowadays there is a clone of the bitcoin-seeder called the generic-seeder that is much easier to setup for most altcoins that could have possibly avoided this issue. It adds new optional features, some small fixes and most importantly, you no longer have to edit the source code to get it to work with your altcoin because all the common variables that change across altcoins have been separated into a config file for easy configuration.
