Watching this and many alike threads, it shows people do really care for each other here no matter where we come from. We always need to be cautious while clicking on links and even watching anything over the internet as sometimes, when you visit a website you're not intended to and during the time you check out the website just because it looks eye-catching, the website can fit a malware behind in order to be use the whole computing power of your PC and even smartphone and it starts mining through the same which is commonly known as cryptojacking. More info here - https://www.csoonline.com/article/3253572/what-is-cryptojacking-how-to-prevent-detect-and-recover-from-it.amp.html

You should always remain aware and active if you don't want to get messed up with shitty issues like these. Always be known to these things to keep your crypto safe forever.

Yep, I care about people. Life can be tough as hell. No point adding to the weight we all already carry. If sharing some info can help someone save the heartache of whatever negative things might happen the share it.
You can help so many people just with one post. Also posts here will show up on google search so people who have nothing to do with the forum will stumble upon posts here and then they can save themselves.

Yes, you can get cryptojacked. But you will know. Your fans will start spinning fast and if you check task manager your CPU usage will be through the roof. My antivirus is very good but sometimes. (since I open 100s of tabs) One of them cryptojacks me and I hear my fans buzzing and everything. I'm like "hey why is everything so slow" I look at task manager "oh right I ben jacked" luckily it doesn't actually install anything or hide anything on your pc so as soon as you leave the site its done. The part that irritates me is that cryptojacking makes cents. A CPU cannot mine. People only stay on the page for a little while it's not like they leave it open overnight or something. Even if they did it won't even mine 1 cent worth of anything. Unless it is some sort of altcoin then maybe you make a couple of cents in a day.

Good link. It's pretty easy to detect though. You will notice your pc grind to a halt. Yout mouse will lag like hell. Once I though someone was remote controlling my pc that's how much the input lagged from the mining. But that site was set on extreme. If you want to get away with it you need to set it on low or people will notice and as I say you already mine barely anything so running on say 20% is pointless. Cryptojacking is not worth it.
Only if someone runs a massive bot network of like millions of pcs it will be worth it.
