Can the author of a topic lock the topic?

I thought at one point the author of a topic could lock it.  I’m trying to lock a topic I started because it’s no longer relevant, but I can’t find this function.

Yes! Very easy.
Look at your bottom left corner.

If you don't do this, sometimes admin will lock non-sense topics. I don't know global moderators have rights to lock topics or not. But if admins lock topics, you will be unable to unlock them.
