My prediction missed.Very bad game from Indonesia where there are minimal creations in attack. I only see a few shoots that lead to the Vietnam goal throughout the game. Vietnam really played very effectively by relying on a very fast counterattack. They certainly deserve a gold medal for men's soccer today. Congratulations for Vietnam.

Yes, from the beginning of the game the Vietnam team aggressively attacked the defense of the Indonesian players. After they managed to score a goal, the Indonesian team's mentality began to decline, and the result was that the Vietnamese team won. It's a pity the Indonesian team didn't get gold.

I wouldn't say they should regret and blame themselves for not winning the gold. The important thing is that they have giving everything, but the breaks and experience went to the Vietnamese and they are the better team overall so they deserved it. Indonesia team is very young, so obviously, lack the experience and as you have said, mentality they have a break down in which the Vietnamese team took advantage of.

I wonder how they will split the incentive for every Gold medal brought home coming from the basketball team. Incentive is around $16,800 USD and they will split that among all players since Basketball is considered as just 1 Gold medal.
Is the incentive that really big!? :O. It's just seems small in terms of USD but on our currency it was almost a million! In my opinion, that's enough for the whole tram already. What I'm wondering right now is that how single gold medalists felt receiving almost a million pesos. What a fortunate for all of them, they already did their passion, make our country proud and got a pot of money. What else they could ask for Cheesy?

I bet for them and lost and actually i was hoping Indonesia will playing such as against Thailand for final match but unfortunately it wasn't happened and since the beginning of match they cannot out from Vietnam pressure and seems too most of players isn't in the top performance probably because for semifinal match the players play until extra time which is makes some of players tired
Yes, Indonesian players cannot out from Vietnam pressure, I hope the coach will change the strategy in second round  but losing a playmaker make them more depressed.

140 gold for the host nation, what can we say, they really dominate this meet and with the whole crowd behind them, it is to be expected. Surprised nation here is Vietnam, they have improved a lot and I'm sure that in the next SEA games, they are going for the top spot.

I see two countries that prepare themselves well, namely the Philippines and Vietnam, as seen from the medals they get.

Today is closing ceremony, congratulation for Philippines who successfully organized this event.

This is part of e-sports in 30th sea games but I've never seen a sports book that have listed Mobile Legends on their platform.

i dont think MLBB will added on betting sports , because i cleary see this game have imbalance on their hero.
that why i choose DOTA as a good E sports game, not meant to compare but the fact , balance of game play on MLBB is very lack.

Speaking of DOTA, the fight for Gold is on play between Thailand and the Philippines. The game is tied at 1 match apiece. Who do you think will win this game? Thailand has shown their prowess in game 2 but I will go with the Philippines to win here. Nothing special, I just want to support my fellow Filipinos.

congrats for PINOY team , 5 round match is really tired , such as TI , and also i really enjoying that match , soo much comeback action there.
btw, is that player is came from unfamiliar team ?
i never heard their name before on Pub Game

They changed their name for just this SEA games competition. Though there are some flaws on their plays like the Philippines when they use enigma in game 5. It was almost a useless enigma and luckily he timed his blackhole and caught 3 enemy heroes which made the turn around of the match.

of course enigma must be countered like that , since that hero a most contribute of team fight in general aspect. same as magnus or Earthshaker , a powerfull hero , and so far , TNC.Tims have a most beautiful blackhole.
btw about name . are u sure they just changed it for SEA games ? because i also cant recognize their face , so that why i am sure they is from underdog players and trained hard for SEA Games.

An extraordinary bonus given by your government. So the Philippine athletes are so eager to add to the treasury of medals in the sea games this time and managed to become the overall champion as the host. So indeed the bonus he got was, I think, comparable to his sacrifice

For sure players arent really aiming for that kind of incentive and im sure that they werent even expecting for that bonus where the government it gives.
Getting gold isnt always about on getting some income or money but also for the glory of said country.Theres no value that can equal to the honor youve given
or contribute with into your county.I can say that amount is really an enough and considerable for Filipino rate yet for an entire basketball team. Not bad.

Most of them are playing professional basketball right? So I'm sure they already have a decent pay already. So it doesn't makes any difference if $16k is spread among the players because money is not their incentive to play but instead represent their country win the gold and continue their streak on basketball dominance in South East Asia region.

Kudos to Philippines, after so many negative talks in the beginning, the SEA games went very well.

What's interesting was how patient that Enigma was, well specifically it was played by Rushton. AFAIK, he was a teammate of Gabbi and Armel before on Clutch gamers by the year of 2017. There shouldn't be any comparison between two players, the experience of Tims is farther these days than Boombacs(Rushton).

Yes, the change name was for the Sea Games, haven't you noticed it was the players surnames?

That amount really doesn't matter for them, as professional athlete they've earned a lot from their contracts, plus other incomes like tv commercial contracts and even vlogging ( It would be easier for the popular people now to earn a lot of followers and viewers)
So, yeah I agree with you, these athletes doesn't think of the money they can earn because clinching a gold medal means more than what monetary value they could receive.

Yeah, It's just sad that our countrymen are the ones responsible for the biased critics. While foreign visitors keeps on complementing the hosting country.
Anyway, those are just some political attacks from the opposition.

It is to be expected, even a lots of Olympics in tha past has criticism as well. What's important is that the Philippines has stage one of the best SEA games in recent memories.

The closing ceremony is also world class, fireworks display and you can see all the athletes are very happy an proud to be part of this games held in the Philippines. Vietnam will host the next game, and with their strong showing, I wouldn't be surprised that they continue the tradition of host countries being the the most bemedaled.

Before I lock the topic since the 30th SEA Games has officially ended, let me post the final medal tally

|Country| Gold   | Silver    | Bronze   | Total
Philippines|149 |117 |121  |387
Vietnam    |98 |85   |105  |288
Thailand   |92 |103  |123  |318
Indonesia  |72 |84   |111  |267
Malaysia   |55 |58   |71   |184
Singapore  |53  |46  |68   |167
Myanmar    |4  |18   |51   |73
Cambodia   |4  |6    |36   |46
Brunei     |2  |5    |6    |13
Laos       |1  |5    |28   |34
Timor-Leste|0  |1    |5    |6

The next host of the SEA will have a big shoe to fill but knowing how competitive Vietnam is in terms of hosting such big activities, they will make the 31st SEA Games another event to remember to athletes. Locking this thread now.
