Ah, a conspiracy theory. Let me fold this up and refer it to the trashcan, as with any conspiracy theory. Once it actually starts to become to a real theory, you can have it back.

I'm bored at work... my bad.

So you're certain M. Kerpeles didn't conspire with anyone to move the market in the manner that he did?

Yes... M. Karpeles bankrupted his business, just to bring the price of bitcoin down. and all the BTC he may have stolen is now worth less, he also loses the control of the markets inside his own personal mtgox sandbox.

If you really want to push this conspiracy theory, please show how M. Karpeles would have gained anything from any of this. (Other than the possibility that he stole a bunch of BTC.)

It's called arbitrage.

I doubt that goxing has such goal as you've mentioned. I think the only reason was to steal bitcoiners's money and they did it successfully

It's called arbitrage.

Yes arbitrage is buying and selling on different exchanges to take advantage of price differences, but the speculation in the first post is:
"The goxing.. was a fake to keep the BTC prices low.."

That is hardly a description of arbitrage.... I'm just saying if you have a conspiracy theory, back it up with some methodology or some type of rationale.

Oh, I'm not. That doesn't mean that I find the average conspiracy theory credible. There seems to be a major difference between conspiracy theories and your average theory. Someone whispered to me it had something to do with 'evidence', 'credibility' and 'scientific methods of reasoning and proving things'.

You're right there are major diferrences between the conspiracy theory and scientific theory.  One's thrown around without care of caution and the other isn't.  They've detached.

I'm not the one who came up with the conspiracy theory, thus I do not carry the burden of proof.  I only asked if you were certain that Mr. Karpeles did not collude with anyone.
