What happened: Fake Metamask.

Telegram Group : t.me/metamasken

Scammers has opened a telegram group using the name of metamask. They are constantly adding members to the group. This is actually a scam group. They did this group to steal people's money. They have created a phishing app, to hack people’s wallet .

Now they have crossed 6000 members. Which was 4000 members few minutes ago.

Members increasing fast.we should Report this group.I already report that group.guys you should report.Maybe it will help to delete that group automatic.

Just think of it that 6K of its users are going to download and signing, that's a lot of ETH wallet to login each, that's a lot of money for simply making them look legit to the users who didn't even thought their coins are unsafe. they could be doing this in social media pages to attract users to their telegram channel. I tried searching the channel but it won't come out in the searches, anyone got into the channel to warn users?

I can't understand how someone can fall for such a blatant scam!
To nyone who joined that group and expect to receive a reward: ask yourself, why what's supposed to be a Metamask group asks you to create a wallet on blockchain.com? Why don't they send the reward to your Metamask wallet!? and why do you have to send few coins to their contract address to be eligible to get the reward!? Doesn't make sense, right!

Good news is, it seems that, their telegram group has deleted by telegram. Because I reported that it is a scam group and it is not an official group of metamask.

good, I checked metamask does not have an official telegram account. Thousands of bots (active accounts not proportional to total members) joining in one day are enough to get them deleted because they have broken the rules. the report process will usually only add a scam label to the right of the account username. The picture above is just about the investment plan, we don't need to click on joining the group from the start.

Thanks for the warning, we should spread this awareness because nowadays most users preferred using MetaMask as their ETH wallet. I wonder what kind of project they are offering, it seems that they're members are increasing every day.

Edit: I also checked that they already removed By the Telegram. Good Job Guys!
