I've been curious about Bytom for a while now every time I study the CMC top 100. What I learned is that Bytom implements SHA2 family algorithm to help prevent someone from calculating a private key from a pubilc key to enhance security. And if a failure were to happen the protocol would allow a fork to happen and move into SHA3.
I also learned about the concept of Reorg 'attack' which apparently is quite rare. I need to look more into this but if anyone can expand please do so here

I am not too familiar with bytom and would really like to see more material from this project. Use cases might be helpful

It doesn't matter if you have the best technology and people are not using it, BYTOm has been in the space for some time but it seems it is going to obscurity, ma be some occasion pump and dump and dump and pump but nothing else, I just don't know how the bagholders fee now

It's interesting it has been one of top 100 on CMC for a while now. People are obviously invested in it... we are just waiting for some use cases
