[Warning] Binance CEO's Fake AMA And Fake Giveaway!

Suddenly I saw someone add me to a telegram channel. Name binance announcements. First I saw binance's official updates in that group. A little later I saw binance ceo's 2nd anniversary AMA Link. I clicked on the link and saw a fake giveaway with an old AMA's video. Many people may believe it. And they can send their funds to scammers.

At first I thought it is a binance official announcement channel too!

So I did this post to warn those who understand less about these kind of scams.

Telegram is a bad place to add unknown people. Many scammers are there so you should make sure that you are communicating with the right channel.

Go to >> Settings >> Privacy and Security >> Group Invite Settings >> only your friends (or any trusted person.)
This edit will reduce a lot of dealing with scammers.
Again, check that it is the official channel using the official website.

If you look at the telegram channel it contain 9.4K members which is huge and anyone who is added to the group will feel this is the real official telegram channel for binance. I wonder how there were able to add so many members in the group which is basically made for scamming.

Never trusted a giveaway or doubler ethereum and bitcoin.

I one of the people who always try following the AMA Section at Telegram from Binance, we as the participant of AMA will not be asked to send a fund.

Went Binance conduct AMA, you just need to raised a question and answer the question. If your question gets answerer from the AMA or answers a right quiz you will get a mention from the telegram and PM one of the moderators from Binance to provide all the information account of binance & referral UID.

Telegram has always been a home of scammers. It's very easy to impersonate on telegram.
Always try to do some confirmations before proceeding with any confirmations that involves money. This scammers are getting smart day by day.

Anything that looks too good to be true, then it isn't true.  Moat of these scammers usually masks their operations using already established firms. That happens to be the best way to scam unsuspecting users. These days, people don't have little to trust for new brands. So scanners upgraded. I've seen several SCAM Binance groups posing as the official binance team. It's always safer to stay clear from these groups. These days, If I get added unknowingly to a group, I leave almost immediately.

Just when you think that you know all the tricks, scammer would just start a new trend that would be nothing short of genius, but one thing that everybody should note is that when it involves giveaways, no exchange would ask you to send them funds in order to receive the giveaways especially when it's something like an AMA,infact any smart person should know this, if an exchange wants you to make a deposit, it would be to your own account in that exchange and not an external wallet, people should stop looking for handouts like this and really think before they jump into every giveaway. Telegram was used to be a good avenue for communications and so is Discord, but with the advent of bots those two messaging apps was now being used by scammers to perpetuate their criminal activities.

Seen lots of fake giveaway and this seems to be the latest trick that they are pulling. And I do hope that no one can be a victim here.

Scams are happening almost everywhere It's not just about Binance Scammers are creating new platforms for scams so no one can understand. That's why we should stay away from new services Basically the number of scammers at Telegram is high For this reason we will not collect any information from our telegram.

You can move this in the scam section, or you can create one for the scam category, telegram promotion is a bad way to join, unless they have an official announcement here in Bitcointalk or some other places, because in telegram they control everything, they can delete your account if you are questioning them, so don't join any telegram give away, just don't.

I encounter that channels on telegram and unfortunately it doesn't related anything to the real binance channel so we better be ware on any of those and locate immediately the real binance channel to verify the legitimacy of the said giveaways if there will be.

And newbie should remember that you shouldn't pay anything just to join on giveaways since legit giveaway creator will not ask any money for participations.

Not too surprised by such a deception, what @hugeblack has given is enough to prevent scammers from entering our telegram accounts into the scam channel like that.
Channel or group are not purely new created and add one by one member to their channel there are also channels from the result of the ICO which failed then changed the name and all kinds including photos.
If anyone has join a bounty from ICO that failed it would be better to immediately leave the group or channel and block it.
