Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies?

For me, it is hard and ambitious to think that the world will be run by cryptos, not today or in the near future. First, not all people know crypto, some may know and are aware of it, still some are not educated about it. Even if some wants to educate others, still not all people will understand and will be interested in it. Second, governments will not allow people to use cryptos and not their own currencies. And lastly, it is too risky to use intangible cryptos that may vanish anytime when total power shortage and loss of internet happens worldwide rather than using fiat currencies.

I think it's not realistic. Cryptocurrencies can't replace fiat money and support economies and financial system. Also, full adoption is not likely very soon because of lack of regulation and legal framework.
Also, don't forget that not all people in the world have access to internet, some don't even have electricity and very few of them is actually familiar with cryptocurrencies.
In the future cryptocurrencies will further develope and grow, that is for sure, but I don't think they will take place of fiat currencies.

You think the whole world can't run using crypto currencies? Why? If people can use paypal or other digital wallets to make transactions, then what is wrong with crypto currencies? In fact it is more secure than Paypal. Yeah, it is not possible to be using bitcoin every time to make transactions, but there are other altcoins that works perfect for using it as a currency to make day to day transactions. Again, we might end up making a new crypto currency that is actually perfect in all sides to be using it as a currency.

I don't think the world's going to run crypoturrency, leaving behind fiat money. Although the blockchain has already been adopted by several companies and countries, it does not mean that they will also accept cryptocurrency. Since we know there are strong swings in cryptocurrencies that are not appropriate for use in payment instruments. And also most governments do not accept cryptography as a means of payment they only use cryptography as an investment tool. And some consumers of cryptocurrencies also tend to use fiat money for payment devices because it's more convenient. They only use crypto for commercial and investment purposes.

I am just wondering would it be possible in the future for the world to run solely on cryptocurrency? Considering that right now there are many people from different walks of life who are using cryptocurrencies in their day to day life. I think right now one of the main limiting factors for world-wide cryptocurrency usage is the world’s governments who make restrictions on cryptocurrency usage. Moreover, I also think another factor in limiting cryptocurrency usage is a lot of people’s lack of understanding of cryptocurrencies as it is a rather new technology to most people.

I think that we can solve most of these problems by educating people about cryptocurrencies and debunking what the mainstream media have done to slander cryptocurrencies.
I honestly think that if these issues a solved then we will probably have more people to use cryptocurrencies worldwide.

What would do you guys think, I’m just speaking (posting) my thoughts over here. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I’ just rather optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency usage in the future.

Perhaps it is not yet time for such a big change, besides this it would not happen overnight, it would take time, but it can happen, because even in some countries they already manage their own crypts, others provide energy for bitcoin miners , others are legalizing it ... Some companies accept payments in BTC. I even have colleagues with whom they exchange any type of local currency, for some cryptocurrency that interests me. So we really are not far from happening, only it will take time.

When people don't understand crypto, maybe it's not for them honestly? I think you shouldn't really use things you don't understand and some people find it intimidating for some reason. We create the problem in their own heads as crypto is very easy to understand. I hear about the government what you're doing, but they can regulate so much. They're never going to know what we're doing and to whom. Bitcoin is accepted all over the world and this is a "global currency." I use crypto more than fiat and it has already achieved its target as far as I am concerned and proved its worth

It can be possible in the future if the whole world will make a massive adaptation with cryptocurrency in which no single individual of all the countries around the globe will not be left behind. But as of now, it is still impossible to make happen due to the recent happenings that are occuring in the world including wars and economic problems. But if all the global issue will be resolved and the whole world will be able to adapt to the continuous rising of the modern technology in which all people can do have an acess on internet, which cryptocurrency can mainly be accessible, possibly in the future that the world can be able to run in terms of cryptocurrency. That will be all possible as soon as the whole world can be able to adapt on using cryptocurrency as well as being able to fully understand how to use and knowledgeable enough to make cryptocurrencies being able to lively circulate on daily life basis.
