The screenshot explains it all.

I wanted to withdraw 5k usd from them on 17 Jan 2014, they confirmed and approved but never came through. Today when i checked my mtgox account, i see that they credited my 5k usd back into my account.

Is it something good? or just what law requires them to do?

You've got a record now that you can use to show a $5K capital gains loss on your taxes, although I suppose this probably varies by country.

Not sure what will happen.

Unless somebody finds Karpeles and smacks him around a bit to get the truth from him I don't think anything will happen.

I suspect nothing will happen.
