I've seen the other thread of someone accusing Paytradex of having a photoshopped team.

I decided to get into their Telegram chat to see what's up and I found they're pulling a huge scam and people are already falling victims to it.

There are close to 8k members in their Telegram group (probably a lot of them are fake) and they've basically created the "Ethereum Giveaway" Twitter scam, but this time on Telegram by using a fake project with a fake team.

The so-called giveaway promises to double any amount you send to them starting from 1ETH. This is clearly a scam, without a doubt.

This following quote is the pinned message of their group:

🎁 Ethereum (ETH) Double Giveaway🎁

Good day guys, we are delighted to announce our alliance with the Ethereum community. Together, we are giving away 10,000 ETH (~$1,778,200) to members of the crypto community worldwide 🌎 to facilitate the adoption of cryptocurrency.

For those that missed prior giveaway can now take part in the ETH giveaway now.

You don't need referral to participate in this event and no country restriction too.

PS: you can only take part in this event only once.

Thank you for your amazing support and congratulations in advance.

This is the archived link of their scam giveaway website, and I've also archived a screenshot of it.

They have created a huge amount of bots to come into their Telegram group in order to post fake proof of receiving their doubled rewards. I'll leave a list of links below with these bots and the time they've been last online.

The accounts have all been last seen minutes after sharing the "proof" in their group chat. Clearly bots.

This is absolutely horrifying, to say the least.. I thought the Twitter scams were already enough. I've tried looking these guys up without success. As a last proof, although I believe the one I've posted so far + the photoshopped team are enough to prove the scam, I've tried asking a simple question in their chat: "how do I know this is not a scam?" want to guess the result? Instant ban.

I have sent NameCheap (the domain registrar website) an email to warn them of the scam this false project is promoting. Hopefully they will take the needed action to find and punish these guys by law.

If anyone has been scammed by this fake giveaway, I recommend filing a report at the closest police station as soon as possible. There are also websites online for filing against cybercrime in your country (or in Europe/USA).

I'd like to warn every single user not to believe any "coin multiplication" giveaway which requires you to send funds to anyone. You're going to be the new victim of these scams.
