What happens if you abandon a transaction from your desktop wallet? Does it come back to the wallet?

The transaction was sitting there forever. I got tired of waiting on it so I right-clicked on it and chose to abandon transaction. So now it sets there in red and has not come back to my wallet.

Why have I never heard of this altcoin? Looking at Coinmarketcap it seems like it has a 24 hour volume of $1,350.

For other networks, when a transaction sits in the mempool for too long (e.g. due to zero transaction fee or low fee), it will eventually be purged from the pool and the inputs will remain unspent.

However, for a nascent network like BitcoinV, it's more likely that there are simply no nodes online the confirm the transaction, hence it never properly propagated.

This is what it says: Status: 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool, abandoned. So what will happen to it?

bitcoinV is to me hard to believe it is real or ever will be
if this coin were to come alive in any way, it would  be bigger than the entire crypto world with 1.5 billion tokens for start
and there is just no need for it

Normally, the process needs to take place. At Blockchain, sometimes transactions can be slow. The reason for this is simple. Operations are slower when the network is busy. Of course, if you pay a large transfer fee, the process will speed up.
