I think every IEO held on famous exchange such as Binance and Kucoin always make a good return of investment. Has there any record of below IEO price for the past launchpad on Kucoin? Im not sure but probably none, cause IEO on this exchange for sure got some profits if you managed to win on their IEO.

Regardless of the concept, investors will not care about it as long as they can enter and join the IEO, cause once trading started they will exit with a good profits and thats it. They will just wait again for new IEO. Thats how IEO works, in my opinion for some investors. Seeing it as a money generator.

Agreed. But that's likely the case with most IEOs like Binance Launchpad. Well, all investments have their inherent risks and we should already know it beforehand. Imo, IEO's are dumping mainly because of the people. I'd say 60% of the participants are in for the quick flip, while 40% actually believe in the project. Spotlight can't just always carry the tokens to a better price. Still I believe there have been several featured news about Lukso about how good it is like this one (https://medium.com/kucoinexchange/5-things-you-must-know-about-lukso-f68d260e106). So when the project does really make sense in the industry, you need not to worry as it's bound to go

I'm aware of this IEO on KUCOIN called Lukso but I'm pissed that the team decide to put lock on the tokens for months and again Kucoin follows binance IEO strategy by using ticket, I would have love to invest in the project but the lock idea turned me off

After Kucoin change IEO to ticket program i missed its IEOs many times, because i'm not the chosen people. Invest by buying on exchange after it is traded is not a good idea for me. Contacting the team for private sale is a way but it's only for big investors. So after all, no way.

I'm interested to participate on Kucoin Spotlight but it has no guarantee that I can buy their token, just like other Kucoin spotlight events before the primary cause was it has too many participants but only a few were lucky enough to bought some tokens so its a waste of time and effort to me. last time I heard that it changed the system just like Binance but I'm not sure about it. compared to Binance IEO it was through a lottery system that has a BNB session only for me the easiest form to buy a token or a coin on IEO is on Coinbene's moonbase event. but I think they freeze it momentarily because I never saw any announcement regarding another moonbase event.

You mean they will lock the tokens of investors participating in IEO for several months? If it is true then we should not participate in this IEO because they are holding our money

Im bit confuse with locked tokens. Yes Kucoin copied even the lottery method of Binance but it does not mean your token would be lock by the exchange if you won on their spotlight. Ive never heard any such project that have IEO then their token will be vested.

Maybe you are referring to a giveaway, cause mostly team does lock some free tokens, but usually the team or any advisor tokens are all have time frame for vesting period. Maybe this is what you mean.

Yes, that is generally the case. However, an economic recession does not mean that people do not have the money anymore it can also mean that more and more people can be looking for ways to make money and when the pandemic still around they can be doing it online...and certainly new cryptocurrency projects can be highlighted as viable and profitable platform depending on how good it is and the people behind it.
