Right now, just 2 mining pools control over 60% of Monero’s network hashrate, but just how serious is this problem? What do you think, guys?

Depends  if you mine and dump monero to btc  you don't really care about a 51% attack.

But if you mine and hodl  there is additional risk due to that much hash on only 2 pools.

Not a serious problem.  The largest pool only has 34%.  really no different than ETH, which 2 pools control 55%
