A wake should be classified as as a "Traumatic" Event. The act of Viewing a loved one in their time of death should be banned. To see a person you love in a State of permanent state of lifelessness is an an act of torture. to see the person you love in a lifeless state should be banned. i do no not want want the last thoughts of me being a cold corpse. I don't want an open casket or a funeral at my time.

i do no not want want the last thoughts of me being a cold corpse. I don't want an open casket or a funeral at my time.

I agree with this - my first look at a dead body was my grandmother's when I was 25.  I had just walked in and did not notice the casket right beside me until I glanced down and saw her weak, feeble body.  I was physically and mentally shocked for a second.

Make sure to die in a way they cannot prepare your body for viewing.

Also, make your wishes for cremation known.

I agree with you  You are right in saying that the act of seeing a loved one at the time of death should be forbidden because many souls of the deceased suffer  I saw my grandmother die when no one saw her dead body because she had banned everyone before she died. That's why I think as much as your own people it should be banned.

I agree and pretty much viewing the body and then those rigorous funeral ceremonies are waste of time to make the mery really worse. I believe the dead body should be buried/cremeted instantly upon confirmation of death and not many people except like very very closed ones be given a last look. That's how it should be.
