May I know where you reside? Not to be nosy on your private life or to satisfy my curiosity on which part of the world a credit card accepted as primary form of identification, I inquire to get a better understanding of your driver's license situation, given you only got one more shot at this.
If you happen to be in US, and the ID you're referring this far, the one that will expire on 21 May, is a DL, know that it'll be very much better to try other govt. Issued ID, since BC US is known to be very picky with DL as a valid document.
About your advanced KYC, let's wait until we get through with your basic one, shall we? Focus on passing it first before we move to the next step. Or was it asked to be done simultaneously?
Canada is where I reside currently and my new Driver's license should be valid for another year. I may be speaking out of my ass here but I recall using my credit card for certain ID checks. Of course it doesnt have any identifiers other than the name but I also dont know if the card is connected to some sort of government database or something here. I may just be confused and in the moment I was a little desperate to get my verification so my money wouldnt be locked up. Regardless, when my new license shows up I will make sure all the dates and expirations are correct and valid before submitting. Will a Canadian drivers license satisfy the basic KYC requirements? I would like to assume so because it is listed on accepted documents but you mentioned in the US it is a little iffy. Let's try to see if I understand this correctly, I re-read your entire thread again, and am I correct that after two attempt with your national ID that's about to expire, you jump straight to your credit card as the means to verify your identity? You didn't use passport or [most importantly] you driver's license? Thus, the documents are yet to be submitted as your proof of identity? I actually immediately used my drivers license which I didnt realize was about to expire, one or two attempts. I dont have a passport or else I would have used that. My only primary form of ID I have currently is my drivers license which expires May 21st. Now I have ordered a new one which should be here within a week or two. I used my visa as a last resort attempt when I realized my license was close to expiration.

I have to use AI to inquire, but unlike US who only allows their citizen to choose one, Canada allows their citizen to have two simultaneous govt. issued ID cards [besides passport] just like most other sane country in the world; Driver's license and national ID. In your case, it'll be provincial ID, DeepSeek said. I understand correctly that you only have driver's license? The provincial ID or Ontario Photo Card is not in your possession?

I haven't required one in the past so I haven't gone out of my way to request an ID card from the government. If a driver's license won't suffice then I can get an ID card. Just not something I have required in the past so I didn't have one on hand

Ok, i think I understand most of the situation. Your DL will be ready in a few weeks, but if that has a potential of raising issues like the one with BC US [it's a "separate" division from BC global, by the way], you still have option to ask for national ID. I'll ask my contact on their insight of this, which doc is better and will have less chance of being marked as invalid.

They suggested you to use provincial ID or passport to complete this matter. Is it hard to get the provincial ID issued? I figure there is no need for passport if you don't have any plan to travel in the next couple years, so issuing them [that mostly needs more effort and time] is less effective compared to the national ID [provincial ID, from Canadian version]. My two cents, though.

BC Game have put the OP through a lot of hassle. If they can state all these things to you, they could easily have relayed it to the OP and it would have saved him time. If they wanted a provincial ID or passport they should have advised him days ago. Heard back. Canadian DL will not be good for verification purpose. My two cents, though. Sure, my only concern is the verification options have drivers license as the second option so its concerning that it wouldnt be a valid form of identification for bc game. Regardless I can get an ID card and use that instead but it will take me a bit longer for shipping and processing times etc. I just wonder why DL would be one of the first couple options if it wouldnt work. I appreciate it though. I guess now I wait until I have my ID card and see how long that takes to come in

My two cents, though. Well, OP reached to the live support. They basically don't have much power to overturn a security system locking in, especially as it got locked because OP repetitively submitted their credit card as a proof of documents [six times, is it, OP?]. The one stating things to me and whose message I relayed, are the ones with name on BC, and I think even with their name having major impact, it still need them to work interdepartmentally to "overturn" the security team's call and lift the restriction. [I mean... who submit credit card as a valid proof of identity, repetitively, despite being rejected on their first try? Wait... who even submit credit card as a "govt issued document"?] Can they reach OP and relay the message themselves? Yes. Will that save time? Surely. But I don't think they'll be happy to get their personal contact known by someone else. And for them to reach OP personally instead of having me to relay it, it'll require some personal contact being shared.

Got my provincial ID coming in the mail, should have no issues with that when it comes in. That's quick. Can you keep us updated if you got past that basic KYC smoothy with provincial ID? If they rejected it, I'll kick my contact in their butt, LOL. In all seriousness, though, page me if it gets rejected, I'll inquire to my contact as we submit as per their suggestion.

Turns out my provincial ID showed up with my license today in the mail when I checked late. Submitted that, basic KYC approved. Got through the advanced KYC with a bank statement and got my account unlocked. Was able to cash my money out within 20 minutes, smooth as can be. Very glad to have this forum to reach out to and you to have that connection. Don't know why it is so complicated but I do know that BC game is legit and I got my money. I appreciate the help

I am glad to hear this good news. I understand correctly that your issue is now fully resolved? Do you mind to mark it as that by editing the title and add "resolved" to it and lock this thread to finalize them? The button is at the lower left part of the page.
